Continuing Legal Education
Providing ‘local, low cost’ continuing education is a principal effort of the bar. To meet the professional education needs of BCBA members, the Bar Association, in conjunction with the PBI and the PACLE Board, offers seminars in a variety of formats including satellite simulcast seminars and live, locally developed CLEs.
Seminars are held at the Bar Association located at 201 South Main Street in Butler. Discounted seminar tuition rates, for the bar association's locally developed CLE programs, are provided as a benefit to lawyers who are members of the Butler County Bar Association.
A calendar of CLE seminars for each compliance period is published in the BCBA Newsletter and on this website. To guarantee seating, program materials, and food/beverage service, we ask that reservations be made at least 24 hours in advance. [CLE Calendar]
Pennsylvania Bar Institute courses
All courses are presented in the Conference Room at the bar office. Check-in begins 30 minutes prior to the start of the course. NOTE: When you are attending a CLE course (or any event) at the bar office, you may park in the lot adjacent to the Cornerstone Commons.
